چکیده
Abstract Two feeding trials were performed to evaluate the apparent digestibility coefficients (ADCs) of dry matter, protein, and amino acids three animal‐origin four plant‐origin ingredients in Totoaba macdonaldi . In first trial, evaluated using totoaba juveniles with an initial weight 529.7 ± 104.2 g, for second trial 745.9 210.6 g. Evaluated were: poultry by‐product meal, meat bone feather meal (FM), soy protein concentrate, soybean (SBM), corn gluten (CG), wheat (WG). Each experimental ingredient was triplicate. ADCs matter ranged from 35.9% FM 67.9% by‐product, while values 41.7% CG 83.2% by‐product. Fish ADC (79.6%) similar but significantly higher than WG concentrate (72.5% 72.6%, respectively). The lysine WG, sardine SMB (94.5%, 79.8%, 79.4%, Based on results present study, are most promising alternative (i.e., fishmeal) formulation grow‐out feeds.

Apparent digestibility coefficients and nutritional value of Iranian cottonseed meal varieties for rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)
Three different varieties of cottonseed meal (CSM) were evaluated to measure the apparent digestibility coefficient (ADC) of the nutrients using chromic oxide (Cr2O3) as an indigestible marker. Five experimental diets were prepared and mixed with 1% of Cr2O3, 2% of mineral and vitamin each of which were premixed. Diet 1 was used as the control diet. Diets 2, 3, 4 and 5 were formulated using 70...

متن کاملTesting feeds and feed ingredients for juvenile pink shrimp Farfantepenaeus paulensis: in vitro determination of protein digestibility and proteinase inhibition
Protein is the major component for shrimp feeds and must be nutritionally appropriate and readily digestible. In vitro protein digestibility of feeds and feed ingredients, and their inhibitory effect on the digestive proteases of juvenile Farfantepenaeus paulensis were examined. The analysis included animal (four types of fish meal, meat meal and blood meal) and plant (soybean meal and wheat fl...
متن کاملComparison of apparent ileal amino acid digestibility of feed ingredients measured with broilers, layers, and roosters.
The apparent ileal digestibility of amino acids in 7 feed ingredients was determined using broilers, layers, and roosters. The ingredients included 3 cereals (wheat, sorghum, and corn), 3 oilseed meals (canola, cottonseed, and soybean meals), and 1 animal protein meal (meat and bone meal). Dietary protein in the assay diets was supplied solely by the test ingredient. All diets contained 20 g/kg...

The apparent digestibility coefficients of three protein levels of reference diets (without fish meal) and test diets (with fish meal) were estimated for Labeo rohita. Three test diets (test diet-I, test diet-II and test diet-III) and three reference diets (reference diet-I, reference diet-II and reference diet-III) having 28, 30 and 32% protein levels were prepared. Chromic oxide was used as a...
